JV2: 4th place / 9 teams

The Naperville Central JV teams competed in the DVC
tournaments held at Wheaton Warrenville South and Wheaton North respectively. At the JV1 tournament, freshman Luke Russell
locked down three consecutive pins to take first place in the 138 pound weight
class. Cade Wilke and Khalid Khatib both
made the finals at 138 and 160 respectively, both taking second. Jake Viehmann, Mujtaba Ahmed, Karolis Ugintas
and Brad Catalano all took 3rd place. The Redhawks won 30 matches in the tournament
and lost 19. Glenbard North won the
tournament by 10 points over Wheaton North.
At the JV2 tournament Sam Piazza and Michael Norwood both came
away with the gold. Cameron Palmer took
2nd place. Smitas and Hu both
took 3rd place.
