The Naperville Central Girls team crowned two
tournament champions at the Batavia Girls Tournament. Sophomores Annika Hull (105) and Ellen Purl (125)
both earned gold and both by fall in the finals. Hull pinned her way through the
tournament. Purl advanced with decision
of 6-2 and 6-0. Ella Sabugal (115)
earned an exciting come-from-behind pin in the second period of her consolation
semifinal. Sabugal finished sixth. Bianca Arrendondo also competed in the event.
