Naperville Central hosted their first ever girls invitational wrestling event, inviting fifteen girl’s teams to do battle in the aux gum. No places or team scores were kept, but several Lady Redhawks showed their stuff against good competition. Dezi Azar (125) improved to 19-2 posting two more falls, both in the first period. Junior Annika Hull (100) posted three straight wins to improve to 12-9. Hull won the first match by technical fall 23-4 and won the last two by pin. Ellen Purl (120) finished 1-1 with a fall. Gracie Meluch (110), Bianca Arrendondo (130) and Arianna Rico (145) all won a match. Sophia Liu competed at 125.
