Yorkville Christian, a late replacement for the
scheduled contest with DVC foe Waubonsie Valley, won all but one contested
matches against the Redhawks. Central
won the dual by virtue of forfeits. The
lone win was posted by Junior Nick Antonietti who won by fall with just seven
seconds left in the match. Antonietti
had to come from behind to earn the win.
Down 1-6 after the first period, Antonietti scored nine unanswered
points in the second period and added a takedown in the final period before
getting the fall. Yorkville Christian is
a highly ranked Class A school in Illinois.
