At 138, Williamson’s route to the finals included a technical fall followed by a tough 6-0 win in the semifinals against Brooks from Libertyville.  Williamson returned to the line-up after sitting out this week due to a shoulder injury.  Derek Wilke, wrestling at 113 pounds, won by fall in the first round and secured a 2-0 win in the semifinals against Veer from Willowbrook.

Rick Marciniak won 11-1 in the first round.  After losing in the semifinals, Rick defeated Millsap of Lincoln-Way Central 8-4.  Rick came back from a 0-4 deficit to win in come-from-behind fashion.  Rick was recognized as the team’s “I’m Somebody” winner for his efforts.  Riley Guttosch and Shuji Mizoguchi both finished fourth after both won by fall in the first round.

Kyle Hildebrand earned three victories in the tournament with a win by fall, by decision (6-0) and by injury default to take 5th place.
