Six Freshman Sophomore Place at F/S Regionals: Advance to Sectionals

Six Naperville Central wrestlers placed in the top four at the IWCOA Regional Tournament this weekend and thereby qualified for Sectionals.  The tournament was held at Riverside-Brookfield High School.  In all, 15 NCHS wrestlers competed in the event.

Taking first place was Christian Nussbaum.  Nussbaum won all three of his matches.  Andre Pittman took 2^nd place, Laddie Skarecky and Joe Lopez both took third place.  Both wrestlers finished with a 3-1 record.  Nick Keating and Derek McDaniel both took 4^th place.

The sectionals will take place at Naperville Central High School next Sunday.
