Waubonsie Valley by 54 team points.

allowed a free escape to fall behind 2-3, but scored a pair of takedowns in the
third period and held on for a 6-5 decision.

heavyweight. Rolling back to 106, the

Baumgartner won by forfeit at 113 and 120 respectively. Elrin Esporlas scored a takedown with just
seconds left in his match to win with a major decision 9-1 at 126. Ryan Silva looked impressive with a pin
against his opponent in the 132 pound weight class. Fabricio Navarro continued to improve at
138. His fall came in the second period.

from behind with a pin in the second period.
Derek McDaniel completed the Redhawk win, scoring eight takedowns in
route to a 20-5 technical fall.
The Naperville Central JV1 and freshman teams both defeated
Waubonsie Valley. Prior to the dual,
Naperville North brought a group of wrestlers for some friendly exhibition
matches prior to the NCHS vs. WV dual.
Both teams completed well.
On Saturday the Junior Varsity team traveled to Bolingbrook
