The NCHS Junior Varsity and Freshman teams travelled to Naperville North high school to participate in round robin competitions against DuPage Valley Conference opponents from Naperville North, Waubonsie Valley, Neuqua Valley, Metea Valley and DeKalb. No team scores were kept. The Redhawks won 41 matches and lost 13. Of the 41 wins, 25 were by pin, one by technical fall and five more by major decision.
There were four wrestlers who finished 3-0 in the event: Pace Goldenman (8-2 on the season), Patrick Bohan (7-0), Neal Rao (16-0), and Jacob Smetters (11-2). Goldenman and Bohan both won all three matches by fall.
Wrestlers who finished 2-0 were: Michael Salvo (10-0), Gavin Bohan (9-0), Ethan Pytlak (5-1 on JV), Hagan Taylor (12-1), Owen Keating (2-2), Charles Kuang (10-1), Charlie Morgan (16-0), Patrick Geiger (3-0), and Ty Martin. Both Morgan and Rao lead the team in wins with 16. Michael Salvo is undefeated with all ten wins by fall. Hagan Taylor has 12 wins with 11 coming by pin.
Lucas Moen and Joe Thomas finished the day 2-1. Moen leads the team in total number of
matches (19) and Thomas is third on the team with total wins (14)
